  We recently moved to Antioch and transferred our dogs to their location. One thing that generally bothers me is how many times I have to clarify I don't want any unnecessary vaccines, Lyme vaccine causes one dog to go catatonic. This time the vet was on it, she decided to put all the ones I don't want in his allergy info so I wouldn't be asked again. Though she has forgotten he had a vaccine in his prior visit- I assume it's hard to remember because of all the dogs she sees. The wait times vary but if you ever been to a emergency clinic it doesn't compare. The receptionists are friendly, the staff is wonderful. I even got to choose my preferred vet which other locations never asked me. So far this has been a pretty great experience compared to the past two banfields I've been to. Yes banfield is a money crunching business, and there's not emergency night service. But if you're knowledgeable or at least do research on what's nessassry and what's not you stand your ground. They can't make you do anything it's your dog/cat and your choice on what is done to them. If you feel your vet isn't working well with you tell them you don't want to work with them. Who cares if they get upset it's your pet and if you're uncomfortable then do what you feel is best.

  I don't know where all these bad reviews are coming form. I took my dog there when i first got her, she was very very sick, skin conditions, weeping skins, you name it and she had, such an unhealthy little thing. I was afraid people would judge me (i found her this way can i just say that now) but nobody did. Everybody was so kind, so professional. they ran a few skin scrapings to find the issue, they explained to me exactly what she had, why she had it and how to treat it. They gave me pills, a liquid to give her and some cream to put on her. Sure it cost me 100 bucks but i didn't care. They find numerous ways to help lower my bill so i could help my baby. I now have a pet plan its only 42 bucks a month. Ive received well over 1000 dollars of treatment for just 42 bucks a month. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else.
